What is a call?
Calls are predictions you make about what is going to happen in a particular game. Depending on the sport, a call could be about RBI’s, touchdowns, power-plays or just the final score. Make a call, get it right (or close, see below), get points.
What is a challenge?
Challenges allow players to see who makes better calls. A player can challenge other players directly or respond to a call of another player. Set the points you want to risk, pick the friends you want to challenge and make your call. You can also challenge friends not yet in your Credder friend list via email and Facebook.
What is a shout?
Shouts let you write little comments on a game or a call. Have an opinion? Share it! You can also automatically post your shouts on Facebook.
What are max points?
Max points are the maximum amount of points you can get for making a correct call.
How are points awarded?
Getting some of the calls 100% right is really really hard. So, if you are spot on right (or very close to it) you are in the Red Zone and receive the maximum points. If you are still generally right but not spot on (what this means varies by question) you are in the Yellow Zone and get a portion of the points. Scoring of all the results is currently done once a night after the games have finished, but we’re working on making this more instantaneous, so you can see right away how you did.
How can I see how I did on my calls?
The outcomes of your calls and challenges as well as any badges you earn are shown in the Point Tally and Recent Activities. We are also working on a results page that will show you a detailed listing of all of your latest results.
What are badges?
You can earn badges for various activities on Credder, such as making calls, inviting friends, winning challenges, etc. The more time you spend on Credder, the more badges you’ll discover!
How can I invite my friends?
Easy: go to “MyFriends” and enter your friend’s email in the “Search Friends” box. If your friend is already on Credder you can link up directly. Otherwise, Credder will let you send an invite email so the two of you can link up on Credder.

Yes, we know. Not everything on Credder Sports works the way it should. We’re in early alpha testing, so there are some features that are a little temperamental at times. We were so excited about the site, we wanted to share it with you all as soon as possible, warts and all. Please bear with us, we’re working to improve Credder as fast as we can.
Why do I have to input my ZIP code?
We collect your ZIP code both to automatically assign teams to your profile (if you don’t choose any yourself) and to enable some site features coming down the line. Don’t worry, no super-secret strike force is going to come after you. For that, they would need your exact location.
Why does your logo look so crappy?
Yeah, it’s not really a logo. It’s something our intern Bob put together when someone realized “hey, we need a logo!” We’re working on it. But we’re also working on the site too. So if you have design ideas, please send them our way.
